Arsenal 3 Hull City 0 - MOTD Highlights
Diaby ! Can you do it consistently?
Last night game was the best game for one player and he changed the way I use to think about him, yes you guessed it right, I am talking about Abou Diaby, he was the stand out performer for me, Apart from the Defence, If he can play like this week in week out, he can be a menace for teams playing against Arsenal, First 30 minutes were poor, then Arsenal really started to play in the second half, After Denilson with a magnificient Free kick put Arsenal Ahead by 1-0.
Diaby was the one who won that free kick, he also put the cross for Eduardo to score t e second and in the end he scored the third to put us 3-0 up. Common Diaby if you can play like this, where were you all this years? and please do not dis appear after last night brilliant performance. Same showing against Aston Villa please.
Now nuff of Diaby praise, We all got what we wanted so badly after watching Manure losing at the Craven Cottage defeat by 3-0, yes you heard it right 3-0, I was watching that match because I felt that Fulham wil beat ManU.
Last Night Preview.
GoalKeeper
Saved the Penalty but that does not change my stand toward him, he needs to be replaced, otherwise Hull did not test him.
Defence
Two CB were brillinat as usual, Eboue was good going Forward, special mention to Silvestre because Hull player were targeting that that left wing as our week side but he defended well and helped in attack as well.
Midfield.
It was more of a hard working Midfield rather than the usual Arsenal Beautiful passing one, but none the less they did the job well. Denilson and Diaby were involved heavily in the Attacking third, Denilson in the first 30 min was a bit shaky but may be beacause of his injury but got involved as the game played on, Song was excellent as we have come to expect of him.
Forward.
Arshavin did what he does best, always try to do something which help in attack and he was closed down quickly.
Eduardo, well he still dont look sharp. but on few occasion he was brilliant one when he turned and was through on goal in a flash I was like how the F**k he do that, but lacked composure to put in on goal, but eventually he scored one later on in the game. from a beautiful one passing.
Nasri was good if not brilliant, I thought Nicky Bramby should have been Red Carded for Raising his hand on Nasri. I thought even Garcia deserved a card for his melodrama, Nasri just stepped on him he acted as if someone kicked him between his legs and fell to ground.
All in all a good result considering ManU lost. 3 more points against Villa please.

Thank God Fabregas Got Injured
Now it is believed that Owen Coyle wants to take Jack on loan on January, If I was Wenger I would say yes, because if he can give Jack some playing time and that too in the premier league that will be great. I like Owen Coyle as a manager, he has done a fantastic job to get Burnley promoted and the way they play at home is great. So a Loan move for the best talent in English Football would be great.
Now for tomorrow Match, As usual we have a long list of Injuries, Cesc is out, but Denilson is back. RVP, Gibbs their rehabilitation continues. while Nikki B, Clichy Rosicky and not Far Away.

Almunia And Barca Both Need a Slap.
Sorry for the Long Absence from the blog, Exams guys was busy writing them.
Anyways back to my favourite topic Arsenal FC. Now About last night game. Yes we were not playing good after Cesc got injured, (WOW this guy really does mean a lot to Arsenal). Anyways to many negatives from this game which I really thought we will win. But take nothing away from Burnley they were well organised and did not let us score.
Keeper.
How bad was Almunia? Almost cost us the match, if it would had been for the offside flag, we would have lost the match. That was a cross even my teams GK would have held on to. Common Arsene replace him.
Defenders were hesitating to give him back pass they had no confidence in him.
I dont want to talk much about the game anymore, we built a good momentum with a win against the KOP's but failed to continue with it. Next up is Hull at home I am expecting for an easy win without Cesc in the team. No more hiccups please.
Barca need a slap on their face, I really think it time now that Arsenal complain about their public pursuit of Fabregas, trying to unsettle him. Joan Laporta is desperate to hold onto the president seat at Barca.

Arshavin's 100th career goal.
Well, yes it was Arshavin's 100 career goal, and he still did not ask Cesc to take the Penalty, was he so confident that he will score the goal in that match or was it something else.
Arshavin explained it on his Website. He said " before the game the coach tells the name of the person who should do it." and it was Cesc Fabregas.
Asked whether his team mates knew about it, he said. "Actually, yes. I told them long ago that my next goal would be my one-hundredth." But still he was not asked to take the Penalty which he himself won.
But anyways I would like to congratulate Arsha for his 100 th goal, may he score more 100 goals with Arsenal.
Rumour Mills
It is rumoured that Arsenal are after Bojan Krkic, Barcelona young striker, And Barca are looking for a loan deal rather than a permanent deal. I don't know much about it though, I cannot really see it happening.
Nothing much to talk about. Till then bye

Have Something To Say, Express It
Alright lets not go there, 3 matches 3 loss, ok its bad I know But i will not consider Carling Cup result as we all know how much importance Arsene gives to Carling Cup. So I will not waste time talking about the loss and how Mark Hughes is a prick.
Stoke Game I think we will win it. No matter how much physical they get, we will beat them. So I will not waste time in talking tactics and Stuff.
I have been receiving lots of E-mail from my friends and my readers, they want to express their thoughts and feeling, After discussing with my fellow gooners, I have decided to publish your your thoughts on my blog if they are good.
So If you guys have something in your head just mail it to me, if its good enough I will publish it for you guys.
Do not forget to mention your

5 Way To Beat Chelsea.
But trust me there are 5 way through which we can beat chelski.
1 Play Denilson and Song in the Middle along with Cesc Fabregas, I know many people have lot to say about Denilson but trust me, in this new 4-3-3 formation he plays just ahead of Song and Behing Fabregas thus helping in attack as well and in defending and he has developed himself physically If you have doubt remember Man shitty game, we conceeded as soon as Denilson was taken off. And besides he plays well in supporting role to Cesc Fabregas.
2 Vermaelen should Kick Drogba at every possiblity becuase no matter what? he is going to stay on the groud even if not kicked by anyone and avoid letting him get behind defence for those long ball which is sure to come because our midfiled is going to outplay Chelski Midfiled.
3 Play Sagna and Eboue as Fullback, these two has played at the left back position before but I expect Traore to play, he is good in attack but not so good Defensively.
4 Play Eduardo as CF because I cannot see a better game for him then Chelski get his goal scoring touch back, players like Eduardo raise their game against big team when given the chance.
5 Arshavin and Nasri as wing forward, Arshavin is the key here because they have a make shift right back in Ivanovic and we know what Arshavin can do, people have criticised Arshavin this season but remember he is a big match player and can hurt any team at any point, he did that against Manure but unfortunately got injured, and this is his first chance to show his class against Chelski. I expect him to score this Sunday.
6 Sorry I am adding an extra point here, Contain Anelka he is more Dangerous than Dogba, he attacks koin in midfield he drags his marker with him and his movement is diffcult to judge, our fullback should be on their toes to track Anelka becuase he attacks from anywhere on the field.
3 points is what we expect and 3 point I hope we get, and 3 point is all we are asking for,
All the preview review does not matter this Sunday, May the best team ( Arsenal) win.

If you want to be petty in life you look at what others do. If you want to be big in life you look at your own performance - Wenger
Great quote isn't it, Well Wenger don't care how much Scums score. WHY? Well he knows they are always going to finish below Arsenal no matter how many they score.
About tonight match against Liege, remember them alomost defeated us on match day one, when they scored 2 goals inside five min, what a match that was?
Well they are here again. But seriously I cannot see them scoring 2 goals tonight, I want Arsenal to score 10 tonight I know every Arsenal would want our team to score 10 today, But anyways that a different case.
What I am looking forward for tonight is who will start and who will be on the bench?
Three players I personally want to see on the starting line up are Denilson, Arshavin/Rosicky and Eduardo. Denilson because I feel he is good if not spectacular in the three men midfield, because he is more defensive minded and that helps Song in holding role and Cesc in attacking upfront with the front three in 4-3-3 formation. Eduardo, because as I explained in my previous post he will need couple of games to adjust to central striker role, trust me if he given more games he will score more goals than Van Persie( I know many fans won't agree with me on this) but he will. Arshavin may start ahead of Rosicky or Nasri.
So my starting line up will be somewhat like this.
Eboue Gallas Vermaelen Gibbs
Song
Cesc Denilson
Rosicky Eduardo Arshavin
and my prediction is 4-1 may be. LET ME KNOW UR LINE UP AND PREDICTION

Get Off Eduardo's back. Arsenal will beat Chealsea
An away trip to sunderland after an international break was never an easy way to start the premier league, Arsenal started well and probably played well throughout the 90 min but just could not penetrate the resolute Sunderland defence. To be true this was the result I feared against Sunderland because they have really improved under steve bruce, coming away with a point from Old trafford is not an easy thing to do. I would have been happy with a point. but anyways we lost.
Now about the match let me start of with defence.
Vermaelen and Gallas were solid as usual apart from that one setpiece, nothing they did wrong all day.
Sagna as usual solid at the back and also while attacking but his crosses were as usual not good.
Traore was lively throughout the match but was sometime out of position. he really need to work on defending more.
Now comes Midfiled.
Song was probably the best player but still he did not had the best game of this season.
Cesc was finding it hard to get thing ticking as he was playing deep and Cana was stuck on his ass like a bee to a honey. but still he did well.
Ramsey was tad disappointing, I expected him to do well after a week off and after such a brilliant performance from him against Scotland, was easily outmuscled at times.
Now, finally the attackers.
Rosicky was lively when match started but faded away, well could be because of lack of match fitness, he should have scored in the opening five minute of the game.
Nasri was finding it difficult to get in the game was lacking match sharpness after a long lay off, he was desperately trying to drive in the middle to create something but failed to do anything.
Finally about Eduardo, OK not his best game but got to give the guy a break and give him couple of games to adjust, because I see all the bloggers writing him off that he cannot play in that role. what I feel is crap? He will come good trust me. Even Van Persie took seven eight game to get on in that position. Trust me Eduardo will not take seven games to adjust, give him a couple of games and he will come good. Don't judge him by just one game, he will come good.
Overall we were the better team but failed to take any chances though they were few. Next up Chelsea, I have got a very good feeling about this game.
Have faith Gooners.

Placenta for Myles - What if it was some other country instead and not Ireland?
Anyway's about Henry and the amount of criticism he has received for his hand ball against Ireland, and the British media is up for it again, like with Eduardo, I ask one thing to this British Media, have they watched Slovenia v Russia and how Russia was kicked out of the world cup, and what if instead of Ireland it would have been a small European country like Andorra or Croatia maybe, would the British media reacted the same way. Yes it was a handball and Henry is absolutely correct, referee did not see it, how many players have stopped the play when they handled the ball, I cannot recall one. So for this I would suggest that Fifa should give fourth official video help, every modern day sports use technology to avoid such incidents,
For me Henry did not cheated, the ball hit his hand and second time he could have removed his hand but he did not. And why should he if the referee did not see it. For me if technology is not used in football then the goal created by Henry is fare. Though I still believe over the two leg Ireland deserved to qualify.
And one thing Myles Parmer You are Crap. He need to get Placenta rubbed on his brains.

Well It can't get any better than this.
Ok we have Traore to fill the gap or even huge experience of Silvestre to fill in, but the man who I think will replace gibbs is Eboue. Finally I think Arsenal fan will come to know the importance of player like Eboue.
Well Tonight one more intenational, so by tomorrow we will come to know how many players we have lost due to injury, I wish it do not extend but internationals always springs a surprise.
Well I don't know what to say apart from rumours mills and injury news I do not have any thing to give to you all.

Ankle Sprain Explained !
But after searching about this injury on google and after having a word with one of my family doctors I came to know RVP could be out for minimum of 6 weeks. Lets me explain to you about this Injury and how serious it can be.
This injury is divided into three grades and it is called ankle sprain.
In first degree sprain it can take min of 4 to 6 week to heal.
In second degree sprain it can take upto 4 to 8 week to heal.
And in case of third degree sprain it can take upto 6 to 12 week to heal and in case of third degree sprain sometimes surgery has to be done which can take more than 12 week to heal.
This is just the amount of time it will take to heal, once it is healed then add few more weeks to bring him back to competitive level, all in all we can say that its will be a lengthy lay off for RVP.
We can only pray that it is a 1st degree sprain and nothing more than that. Apart from feeling gutted we cannot do anything but curse international friendly.
Like Wenger say November curse, which struck again.

We knew it already Arsene !
Breaking news, Arsene revealed today that he will be playing his young guns in the quater finals of the Carling cup, no matter who the team is playing against. He says he will put on the team who will win, well that nice.
I will to true here, if Arsene is saying the truth then the possibility of Arsenal beating Citeh is quite less, but as we all know this kids are more than capable of causing an upset and we all know that Hughes will be playing his strongest possible team.
If our young guns beat Citeh I will be getting a treat in a 5-star hotel, why? Coz one of my stupid Manure friend think Citeh will thrash our kids, and as usual we decided to bet against it. So if Arsenal win then I win a dinner in a nice 5-star hotel. So go you young gunners.
Well lets just move on, Now the news is Arsene is trying to attract an Israeli youth from Barca, Finally some news about a player transfer from Barca to Arsenal, I was actually kinda bored by Cesc to Barca stories, so this new rumour is nice for a change.
NINE MORE DAYS TO GO FOR THE INTERNATIONALS.

Boring International ! Barca are back with Cesc DNA.
Well, we leave it there, as we all know its international week, rumours of our player leaving and stupid Cesc to Barca comments, this time it is Xavi with the same old DNA comment. I feel that they have been taught by the Barca precident about this DNA comment. I cannot really understand how far they will go to unsettle Cesc.
In other news, Bendtner has gone under the knife for his groin injury, thank god we have Theo back and offcourse Nasri and Tomas, but the problem with Bendtner injury is that we have lost the much needed height for defending set pieces, and to be true I was loving the way bendtner was playing so far this season, so this long lay off is bad for his good form. And what else? yes
Fletcher? who remember that dirty player from manure, he is blaming Arsene comments for influencing refree, which is crap as we all know but what else can you except from a person who himself is a crap.
To be true I cannot really figure out what to write today.
May be tomorrow I can come up with something better, so people wait till tomorrow.

Song did not make much difference last night.
People will say how he was not good enough but the real problem was that Wolves were working very hard to pack the midfield and still Ramsey was keeping his cool in that situation, yes at the start he was shaky but as the game went on he really grew in stature, holding the ball well and moving forward and as soon Diaby went out injured and Song came in for him, thats when Ramsey opened up and started to play some good football.
It would be wrong to say that Song was the real difference maker, I would like to disagree because I feel wolves were really up for it not giving us space and closing in quickly. What we all knew was after some time they will get tired and starts to looose the ball and by the time Song came in and as soon as we scored the first it knocked the stuffing out of wolves and you can see from their body language that they are done for the day and then we scored second and a beautiful third.
So in a way I was disappointed to see Diaby off, since I really wanted to see how will we perform without Song, Remember against Celtic when we won 3-1. Denilson did a brilliant job at the DM role and I am expecting him to do the same when Song leaves for ACN.
All in all a brilliant performance from the team even though when not at their best and long it may continue. Hoping for a draw between Chelsea and ManU.
Once last thing, F**k News Of the World, who claim to have an insider in Arsenal Boardroom who says that Arsene will Quit over takeover. So I would suggest just laugh at that.

Time to get the away form sorted out.
52 goals in 18 matches, that is a kind of stat that last year all conquering Barcelona couldn't manage, this really make me feel proud to be a gooner, but Arsenal's away form has not been what we expected it to be after 6-1 drubbing of Everton, Arsenal have not been comfortable while on road. We lost to Citeh and Manure, drawn with West ham after leading by 2 goals and had to fought very hard to win 1-0 against Fulham, almost lost to Liege in the champions league.
I am not being negative here but our away form has been so so. I see this game against Wolves as the confidence builder for the team to get their away form correct because Wolves has not played well and if things continue the way it is they are set to be relegated.
I know we will win against Wolves but how comfortable will the victory be, will Wolves give good account of themselves I don't think so. So message for today go their make it a comfortable win without making a mess of it.
And other reason this 3 point is important is because Chelski and Manure are playing this Sunday and its a very good opportunity to close the gap on top of the table, a draw at brigde will be a great result for Arsenal because if we win tonights game and the game in hand than we can go on top of the premier league table, If we can manage a better goal difference than Chelski.
So Tonight should be a comfortable win 3-0 to the gunners

Sometime They Make It Difficult For Us.
Yes even I am confused as to who should get the MOTM award, two players are strong contender in Arshavin for his three assist, first two assist were just brilliant and the captain Cesc Fabregas for his brace last night. Even Diaby had a good game and what about Samir Nasri? Song, Vermaelen and Gallas, they all had a good game. I will not go into detail. All I can say is a very good team performance, I was not happy with the goal conceeded, I feel Almunia could have done better.
But Anyways, People I am confused, so let me know who was your MOTM in the comment section.

Injuries And Arsenal !
If we notice the Injury list is begining to increase as the week pass by, this is something which I am really worried about, I really hope tha Clichy should be back within a month which seems unlikely, But we can hope. Another inured player is Tomas Rosicky, when Arsene first mentioned about his injury he said it was just few days before he is fit but it's now 2 week since he has featured, I cannot really figure out what is the reason, from past 2 season's injuries have hampered our title chances.
As if now we can all pray that no other player get injured,
Now about tomorrows match, I am getting a very good feeling about this game, I got a feeling that AZ will be crushed by Arsenal, I am predicting a scoreline something like 5-0 6-0.
I think Nasri should get a start tomorrow, I was so disappointed not to see Nasri playing against those Scums, but I think Arsene will give him a start.
And now Finally about Eduardo, I heard many pundits and Arsenal fan moaning about Eduardo miss when one v one against the goal keeper, I really want all those stupids arse to shut up, I know he missed some sitter's but give a guy a break he just came off from his injury, As if now his finishing is not important, look at the way he make his run and get in ahead of the defender's, against scums he was running in gaps, dragging defenders with him. And about finishing it will come with couple of game. So I cannot see anything to be negative about his couple of missed chances.
Let me know if you like or hate the blog in the comment section.

Top Four! Are You Serious ?
What a magnificient game , in my last post I mentioned about how inportant game it is for Arsenal to get that horrible memory of last season 4-4 draw, especially for couple of players.
Arsenal responded and boy how they responded well.
First goal from RVP just show how well he has adapted to that CF role, it was a typical CF goal from him, I was celebrating jumping in with my fellow gooners after the first goal and when I saw RVP Fab Celebrating I thought that ESPN is showing the replay of the celebration of the first goal but suddenly I realised that we scored second when Andy gray said so. I just did not see the goal happened, 11 seconds is the gap between 2 goals we scored, I will not be surprised if it is the fastest second goal scored ever and then the third goal from RVP killed the game off. Nice work from Sagna again after ref played on, All in all a great performance from everyone. Uhhhhuhh well not exactly everyone.
But all in all a great confidence booster for Arsenal, though I was sad not to see Nasri make his league debut this season, but I have got a feeling that he will start in the midweek CL game against Alkmaar.
Now about the Carling cup draw, Citeh away is the draw, as soon as I read about our next Carling Cup draw I knew it was made by God himself, We would not have to wait till next April to beat them and let them know that their win against the gunner was nothing but fortunate.
And yes I almost forgot, special mention to Song for the wonderful tackle on Keane when he was clear on goal, this is the kind of determination we want from our player's week in week out if we are to win a premier league title.
Next up CL. Enjoy the Highlights.

I Still Remember It Like Yesterday......
And yes I do, I still remember that 4-4 draw against spuds last year, it was the same game after which Arsenal team spirit started to collapse and the dressing room problems were made public, it was the same game which took away the confidence of one of my favourite player Clichy. After this game Clichy was never the same, and he is still struggling to get back to his very best, there is only one way to get this monkey off Arsenal back, this year is by beating them by a huge margin, I will be happy if Arsenal beat them by one goal but what my heart and every gooner heart will want our team to beat scum like never before,
I still remember that game like yesterday when Clichy slipped and Jenas scored and then Lennon scoring the Equaliser. I can still remember those spuds fans chanting in our own stadium. Those scum need to be taught a lesson no matter what "I want to play for Pool" Keane says about their team strength being better than our team. which we all know is crap. The bottom line is I want those spud fans to leave the Grove before half time, I will be happy if Arsenal can do the same thing they did with Everton in the opening fixture.
Let me know what good or bad you have to say about this fixture or any nice memory you have.

Team News - West Ham v Arsenal
Premier League is back and so is Eduardo, I wish he start todays game and I got a feeling that he will start today, Apart from him Bendtner could make the bench since he was also training today, Nasri still lacks match fitness, we will see him in midweek Carling cup match. Apart from these player's we only have Walcott and Djourou injured. I do not expect Djourou to play this season, I really feel sorry for him, it could have been a big season for him. But anyways, We do not have any injuries from the mid-week game.
Predicted starting 11 : Mannone, Sagna, Vermaelen, Gallas, Clichy, Song, Diaby, Cesc Fabregas, Eduardo, Van Persie, Arshavin.
Sub : Almunia, Vela, Eboue, Ramsey, Silvestre, Bendtner, Gibbs.
Prediction : West Ham 0 - 3 Arsenal
Leave ur prediction and starting 11 in the comment box.

Complacency at it's best !
This was a kind of a match I would not like to see the replay of. I was bored to the core at how poor AZ as a team was and still they got a point.
Its like we played with a kid and started teasing him for a candy for 90 min and finally decided to give them a share of a candy. Well I will not draw too many conclusion, I certainly don't mind Arsenal dropping couple of points considering what is happening with Liverpool, Inter.
And Barca as well since they lost to Rubin Kazan, I am still confident we will top the group, but I have never seen Arsenal player's so complacent, they were playing as if AZ is some team of handicap.

Birmingham Done and Dusted/ AZ Next
Well Birmingham game was not an easy one but at the end of the day like Fulham game I will take this 3 points without any complaints, well since this game is now done and dusted, next up is Champions league group stage match against AZ Alkmaar, to be true Arsenal should qualify for the next stage ASAP, so we can concentrate on League matches, Like Fab said League championship mean more to me as well than Champions league.
No new injury apart from Theo, Vela should be back in the team as well and I think Almunia will retain his place between the post Rest of the team news tomorrow.
The best part about this fixture is that we don't have to travel much to reach the Netherlands, and I guess AZ Alkmaar should not cause much of a problem for Arsenal I will take a 1-0 win for Arsenal, since its an away match.
Fabregas said: "We have six points from two games in the group and if you think about the position we were in after just four minutes of our opening game, it shows how quickly football changes.
"You must stay focused every day to be the best, because everyone else out there wants to be the best too.
"People expect the so-called smaller teams to be easy, but especially away from home those games are tough.
"They are usually fresher than the English or the Spanish teams because maybe their own league is not as intense."
Now Captain have a point here about the intensity of the dutch league, its good to know that our leader is alert and take into account the do's and don't of these matches with the so called smaller teams.
Team news and preview sometime tomorrow.

More Thrashing More Goals - Report
Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby had fired the Gunners into a 2-0 lead inside 18 minutes.
However, Lee Bowyer capitalised on a mistake by young keeper Vito Mannone - preferred to fit-again Manuel Almunia - to pull a goal back before half-time.
After soaking up plenty of pressure during the second half from the battling Blues, Andrey Arshavin wrapped up the points late on as Arsene Wenger's side made it seven successive victories in all competitions this season.
Emmanuel Eboue combined with Theo Walcott down the right to swing over a dangerous cross towards Robin van Persie. On five minutes, the Dutchman knocked down a high ball into the path of Tomas Rosicky at the edge of the penalty area.
However, the Czech midfielder scuffed his first-time shot into the ground.
Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell left Walcott - making his first start of the season following a back problem - in a heap following a strong sliding challenge.
The Arsenal forward, though, bent his knee back when falling, and had to go off for extended treatment.
As play continued, the home side should have taken the lead when Diaby's left-wing cross was knocked back by van Persie at the far post, but once again Rosicky got his timing all wrong and failed to make a decent contact.
Walcott, hoping to be part of Fabio Capello's World Cup squad, soon came on again - immediately picking up the ball on the right, expertly side-stepping Ridgewell before his cross was tipped over by Joe Hart.
The opening goal finally came on 16 minutes.
Alex Song collected possession 25 yards out, and slipped a lovely low pass through the left side of the penalty area.
Van Persie took the ball on his right, then switched back inside past Stephen Carr before drilling it into the far corner.
Before Birmingham could recover, it was 2-0.
Eboue put Rosicky clear down the right channel, and his cut-back from the near post went all the way through to Diaby - who smashed a first-time effort into the roof of the net.
Arsenal were now in cruise control, but to their credit, Birmingham maintained some tempo.
Song bundled over James McFadden to concede a free-kick in a decent position for the visitors, some 25 yards out.
Larsson, who left Arsenal in January 2007, struck his effort well as it beat the wall, but Mannone got down quickly to make the save.
Walcott eventually had to go off, replaced by Arshavin on 33 minutes.
Arsenal were made to pay for a lapse in concentration as Birmingham pulled a goal back after 38 minutes.
Barry Ferguson sent a deep cross into the penalty area, which Diaby flicked back up in the air.
Mannone, under pressure from Larsson, came to collect, but dropped the ball - which Bowyer smashed into the net.
Arsenal quickly looked to restore their two-goal cushion, and Hart saved well down at the right-hand post to deny Arshavin.
Birmingham, clearly boosted by their goal, had an early chance at the start of the second half when the ball flashed across the Arsenal six-yard box.
At the other end, Arshavin stabbed a close-range effort wide after Diaby's low centre.
Larsson was, at full stretch, penalised for what referee Lee Probert deemed a somewhat harsh backpass, giving Arsenal an indirect free-kick eight yards out.
Fabregas rolled the ball to Arshavin, who stopped it for van Persie, but the Dutchman's fierce effort skimmed off the top of the crossbar.
As the hour passed, Arsenal maintained the pressure, but despite all of their decent approach play, failed to find a telling pass.
It could have proved costly as Mannone made a brave take as Ridgewell's pass went through the Arsenal six-yard box, which would only have needed a touch for the visitors to equalise.
Arshavin, however, settled matters with five minutes left when he slotted home from just inside the penalty area after a quick counter attack.

Injuries ! Injuries! Injuries!
Midfielder Abou Diaby (ankle) also picked up a problem while away with France, but is expected to be available along with captain Cesc Fabregas who missed Spain's midweek game for personal reasons.
Mexico striker Carlos Vela is on his way back from Central America and so will not be included.
Reserve keeper Lukasz Fabianski is close to a return following knee surgery, but winger Samir Nasri (broken leg), Croatia striker Eduardo (thigh) and Denilson (back) remain sidelined.
Well thats all about our injury list. I wonder if Almunia will start tomorrow anyways,
Arsene Wenger can be funny sometime
"Pressure is very big and has always been," said Wenger, whose last piece of silverware was the 2005 FA Cup.
"We do not play for tablets of chocolate, we play for trophies and that is what we want to win.", wasn't that funny? No! well I thought it is.
Any ways this international week has really taken it toll on my head so cannot really think of much but I will be back tomorrow with the teams news.
till then bye

So Good To Be Back.
As my friends all know I have not been well this past week and hence there were no updates on my blog. I am really sorry for that but now I am back fit and fine and ready to go, Last Game won 6-2, that was brilliant.
Who's next Birmingham, and I don't think Eduardo will play, Well not because he is scared or something, because he is injured, talking about injuries, Nasri is fit and fine but he will only be back for the game against West Ham. But he has to prove his form to play alongside Fabregas, We all know how good Nasri, but let's keep all the praises for the time when he come back to the first team, lets hope we do not have any injury in today's International.
But the good news is that Cesc will not get injured tonight, since he is not playing tonight. Lots of rumours around Cesc transfer, but seriously I am not interested in talking about them and I am pretty sure neither are you all.
Well I will be back with a new post soon and I am leaving you all with the video of Rosicky against Poland, he was just brilliant so thought of posting it.

Arsene Who?
This was same question I asked when I heard about his appointment as the new Arsenal manager, and this was same question which was the headline of every British newspaper. How time passess so quickly I can still remember the day when I saw a skinny man with huge glasses on, standing with the the Arsenal scarf held high, never would I imagined that this will the man who will change the face of the Arsenal football club forever, His presence not only changed Arsenal but also the English football which was so direct and physical with a kind of style and elegance so pleasing to the eyes.

Arsenal 2 W.B.A 0
Mexican youngster Carlos Vela came off the bench to inspire Arsene Wenger's young Gunners to a 2-0 Carling Cup victory over 10-man West Brom at the Emirates Stadium.
The 20-year-old marked his return from an ankle injury when his shot set up Sanchez Watt for the opener in the 68th minute and then added a tap-in after Mark Randall's clever chip came back off the crossbar.
After a positive start the Coca-Cola Championship leaders were up against it after former Gunner Jerome Thomas - who twice won the FA Youth Cup while at Arsenal - was sent off after 37 minutes for a needless slap on Jack Wilshere.
Wenger had once again given youth a chance, his team with an average age of just over 20, while also bringing in experienced defender Philippe Senderos - starting for the first time since May 2008 after a loan spell at AC Milan - and veteran Mikael Silvestre captained the side.
Senderos - who could have joined Everton during the transfer window - had an early chance when he headed over at the near post following a corner from the left.
With Watt and French teenager Gilles Sunu Arsenal certainly had plenty of pace in attack, while Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey - both with plenty of first-team experience already - provided the trademark quick passing through the midfield.
Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, 19, made the first meaningful contribution on his debut when punching a corner clear at the near post and he was stretching in the 15th minute as Robert Koren's angled 20-yard drive flew just wide.
Watt came within inches of opening his Arsenal account when he stabbed Wilshere's cutback goalwards, only for the ball to bounce agonisingly off the inside of the post and into Dean Kiely's grateful arms.
The match had suddenly sparked into life, West Brom midfielder Simon Cox the next to test Szczesny with a low drive.
The Pole produced another fine stop to turn Koren's shot behind, which was creeping in.
The youngsters were rattled - and Kerrea Gilbert hacked the ball off the line after a corner caused panic in the Arsenal six-yard box.
Arsenal responded well, with Wilshere again driving at the Baggies rearguard.
On 31 minutes, Wilshere again made space for himself with another positive run, and his 20-yard shot was just off-target.
West Brom swung a free-kick into the area which Szczesny dropped under pressure at the far post from Leon Barnett, but fortunately Kieran Gibbs - who had played in the Champions League semi-final defeat to Manchester United last season - was on hand to clear.
West Brom continued to look dangerous on the break, with Thomas' run down the left forcing Szczesny to make an important block.
However, the 26-year-old was shown a straight red card in the 37th minute after he clashed with Wilshere, before then slapping the midfielder in the face while he was on the floor.
Cox also went into referee Lee Mason's book for his protests.
Cox headed over for the first real chance of the second half when well placed in the six-yard box before Wenger made a change in the 58th minute.
Mexican striker Vela and Randall came on, replacing Sunu and Francis Coquelin.
The game continued to be scrappy, as the visitors closed down the space quickly.
It took a moment of Premier League quality from Vela to finally help break the deadlock.
The 19-year-old showed great close control to create space for a shot from the edge of the penalty area, which Kiely palmed wide, and Watt followed up to smash in his first senior Arsenal goal.
The Mexican then got the goal he deserved after 75 minutes.
Randall's 20-yard chip came back off the underside of the bar - and Vela was alert enough to get in between Barnett and Kiely before knocking the ball over the line.
The Baggies missed the chance to pull a goal back with 10 minutes to go when substitute Chris Wood fired wide at the far post - which just about summed up their night.

What Is Wrong With Arsenal Fans?
Not a vintage Arsenal Performance by anymeans but a win is a win, I have been reading lot of blogs recently, I do read comments on those blog and to be true I feel its really disgusting how negative we fans have become.
Ade-Bye-Whore Banned
Taking into consideration Mr Adebayor’s acceptance of the charge of violent conduct the Regulatory Commission have ordered that he serve a three-match suspension from all football, commencing Thursday 17 September.
A separate charge of improper conduct will be considered at a later date.

UEFA - Accept Defeat In Eduardo Case.
Good News gooners, UEFA has to overturn 2 match ban against Eduardo for Diving against Celtic to win a penalty.
King Kolo - Must Be P**ed At Adebayor
Well the image above says it all, that he was certainly not happy with Ade- THE LYING CUNTS behaviour, he was quick to pick him up and he did not celebrate for any goals scored against Arsenal, he will be a legend for me I will always want him to do well against any team(except for Arsenal).

Man City v Arsenal - Preview and Prediction
Welcome back Arsenal,
Gosh International week just don't pass easily feels like month, but anyways we are back in business and I am expecting a positive result from our trip to blue side of Manchester. To be true Man CIty are good but just not good enough to resist Arsenal attacking threat, so what if Arshavin is injured, we still have Cesc, RVP, Bendtner and watch out for Bendtner he will have point to prove to Ade-bye-whore. And he scored couple of excellent goal for Denmark, his goal against Portugal was brilliant.
My prediction for this game. Man City 0 Arsenal 2
I know we have injury problem but ManCity will be missing Robinho and Tevez as well.
Considering the way ManCity played their last three games, trust me apart from their goals they were shit. If we look at the number of chances Wolves and Portmouth created but failed to score, We can all imagine what Arsenal can do if given that many chances to score. So an away win looks on the card. And I really want Arsenal to give them a footballing lesson, I still cannot forget that defeat last time around.
Team prediction.
Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
I would love to see DUDU start but that ain't happening, anyways Diaby is playing well(I know he scored an own goal but overall he played well), this new formation suits his style of play.
And yes!, that all, I expect Tomas to make the bench but not Theo.
Let me know your Team and Prediction.

Arsenal Will Win The League...
"I think Arsene wants to prove everyone wrong and win the league with this group of players, and I hope he does."Like I say, I hope they prove me wrong as well. I hope the kids come through and win the title this year. I do think they are still short."
So I am a confident that we can win the title because whenever Tony thinks we are short we come up good, take e.g. of Vermaelen, Tony said he is not ready for the premier league but we all know how well he turned up.
In other new's Cesc has been speaking about our team mentality, not like getting bullied by anyone, which is good.
And yes, Theo is fit, I don't know for how long but thats a good news, Nasri should be back by next month and lets hope no one get injured in their respective International, and I wish Rosicky starts and bang in couple of goals, I wish.
Nothing else going on, I have to go to break my fast and as it 's the holy month of Ramadan, I always pray for Arsenal in this holy month.
suggestion and comments are most welcome.
