Arshavin's 100th career goal.

Well, yes it was Arshavin's 100 career goal, and he still did not ask Cesc to take the Penalty, was he so confident that he will score the goal in that match or was it something else.

Arshavin explained it on his Website. He said " before the game the coach tells the name of the person who should do it." and it was Cesc Fabregas.

Asked whether his team mates knew about it, he said. "
Actually, yes. I told them long ago that my next goal would be my one-hundredth." But still he was not asked to take the Penalty which he himself won.

But anyways I would like to congratulate Arsha for his 100 th goal, may he score more 100 goals with Arsenal.

Rumour Mills

It is rumoured that Arsenal are after Bojan Krkic, Barcelona young striker, And Barca are looking for a loan deal rather than a permanent deal. I don't know much about it though, I cannot really see it happening.

Nothing much to talk about. Till then bye

Man City v Arsenal - Preview and Prediction

Welcome back Arsenal,

Gosh International week just don't pass easily feels like month, but anyways we are back in business and I am expecting a positive result from our trip to blue side of Manchester. To be true Man CIty are good but just not good enough to resist Arsenal attacking threat, so what if Arshavin is injured, we still have Cesc, RVP, Bendtner and watch out for Bendtner he will have point to prove to Ade-bye-whore. And he scored couple of excellent goal for Denmark, his goal against Portugal was brilliant.

My prediction for this game. Man City 0 Arsenal 2

I know we have injury problem but ManCity will be missing Robinho and Tevez as well.
Considering the way ManCity played their last three games, trust me apart from their goals they were shit. If we look at the number of chances Wolves and Portmouth created but failed to score, We can all imagine what Arsenal can do if given that many chances to score. So an away win looks on the card. And I really want Arsenal to give them a footballing lesson, I still cannot forget that defeat last time around.

Team prediction.

Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
Song
Denilson Cesc
Bendtner RVP Diaby

I would love to see DUDU start but that ain't happening, anyways Diaby is playing well(I know he scored an own goal but overall he played well), this new formation suits his style of play.

And yes!, that all, I expect Tomas to make the bench but not Theo.

Let me know your Team and Prediction.

Boring Boring Internationals

Hello everyone,

Well another international week another player injured in Arsenal camp, this time its our little Russian, What happened to him?, he aggrevated his groin injury and will be out for 3 bloody weeks, that means he will miss the game against money city, Liege and Wigan, Arsene Wenger is furious and rightly so, Arshavin was carrying a groin injury and this kind of injury takes atleast couple of week to heal so he was not 100 percent, We really needed him against ManCity. I know we have sufficient cover for him but we do not have another Arshavin. His quality is unmatched.

Now for the good news, Rosicky and Walcott both are back, I belive they both will start on the bench(surprise me Arsene and start Rosicky). Infact rosicky played some 50+ min in Czech 7-0 thrashing of San Marino.

Finally Eduardo, I watched the game last night between England and Croatia, yes Croatia were not good enough last night, but they way english fan were booing DUDU everytime he touched the ball really made me sick to my stomach, I cannot really understand why? and he was again denied a penalty by the ref which I believe was a clear penalty.

Finally I am posting this video of a legend(DB10), all I can say is "Arsene bring him back". Trust me you will not such an audacious goal every week.

Complacency...................Arshavin

Good morning everyone, not much happening on tuesday like monday but yes, Liverpool lost to Villa last night 3-1, lets see how the media write about Liverpool couple of early defeats compare to what happened with Arsenal last season, Lets not get into that toipc

Arsenal are fantastic at the moment and Arsene rightly asked his lads to not to be complacent, and concentrate on Tomorrow night Celtic game,"We experienced a very physical game over there. We know the job has to be finished, but we are still in a strong position. The result will be determined by the way we play the second leg." We should qualify for the group stages of the champions league.

Arshavin has been speaking as to why he left Russia even though he was earning a lot more compare to Arsenal
Arshavin said
"I wanted to see what real football looks like. I wanted to see what the game is like when you play for a world-class team and play only on world-class surfaces and meet only star players every week - as opposed to having to travel to play at half-demolished stadiums, sometimes with artificial pitches, where the result of your game can depend on what the referee is feeling like that particular day.

"I'd won pretty much everything in Russia and if I'd stayed it would have been known that Andrey Arshavin was a very good player for Russian football, but he was not required anywhere else in Europe. When I go back I want people to say, 'Yes, there are good footballers in Russia'.".

And he is more interested in Champions league more than premier league
He added: "I want to win the Champions League, I'd prefer that to the Premier League."

So do we Andrei, and this shows how competitive Arshavin is, for him money is not everything. I remember the day he came to London on a snowy day to complete his transfer some newspaper said he is being greedy and becuase of his personal terms the transfer was delayed. I can't see any truth in this.

No Cesc for Celtic match lets hope he should be back to face ManU.

More to follow.

Comments and suggestions are welcome

Another match Another injury & more

Another match another injury, and this time its our captain FAB. I don't understand why Arsene has to play him if he was already carrying a knock, even our Carling cup kids could have beaten Pompey. Then why Arsene have to take a risk, how serious is his injury? we will come to know tomorrow. We need Cesc, may be not for Celtic in midweek but for ManU away we need him for this particular fixture.

I believe Celtic tie is all done and dusted, playing another 90 min is just a formality now, We all know Celtic will be trying to attack us from the word go that's where they will fall victim to Arsenal counter attack. I can't see Celtic scoring a goal at Emirates let alone win the tie.

My major worry is who will play in Cesc place if he is not fit, diaby (no) he cannot be a playmaker, Ramsey (no) not there yet. Only name that comes to my mind is Arshavin right now I feel he can do it but I am pretty sure Wenger will play him on the left, so that's a major concern if Cesc is unfit for saturday.

News of the world says that Arsenal has open contract negotiation with Cesc. Well I can't see any truth in this story, anyway NOTW is shit.

Moving forward to Arshavin, according to him its time Arsene need to strengthen the team, the Russian feel that the sqaud lacks depth, but Wenger has already said that he will be buying a defensive player and personally I think that is what is required right now, to make this squad a genuine title contenders, but our current squad is good, CB is the only position that worries me because we do not have sufficient back up at CB position, in case if Billy G and Verminator get injured.

That's it for now, will keep you updated on Cesc injury and hoping for the same atmosphere as against Pompey, at the CL return leg at Emirates against Celtic.

Let me know what do you think.
