One of the member of the Arsenal "Invincibles" Jens Lehmann has announced his retirement at the end of this current season, thus bringing an end to the 21 year footballing career. Jens earned a legendary status at Arsenal after replacing legendary goalkeeper David Seamen. Jens is known for his on-field antics and his bad temperament. Jens was involved in too many controversies on field, fined couple of times by the football association for mis-conduct.
Like throwing the ball at Kevin Philip and he was also involved in that famous Van Nistelrooy incident after his penalty miss and many more but the one that stand out for me was the incident involving Jens and Drogba. Where he proved Drogba that he is not the only one who knows acting in premier league.
Anyways all this incidents aside, I would like to thanks Jens for his service to the Arsenal FC on behalf my friends and all the gooners out there.
