I was too busy with my studies so I did not get time to post any blog. Since tomorrow morning we will find out which team we will be playing against in the play-off round to qualify for the champions league group stage.
The draw will consist of two parts as 20 teams compete for 10 places.
The 10 remaining clubs who did not win their domestic competition - such as Arsenal and Celtic - will compete for five places in the group stage. This is known as the 'non-champions path'.
In this 'path', Arsenal are one of five seeded teams - along with Lyon, Sporting Lisbon, Panathinaikos and Stuttgart - and they will be drawn against the non-seeded teams - Celtic, Ateltico Madrid, Anderlecht, Fiorentina and Timisoara.
The 10 other clubs who did finish champions are allocated to the 'champions path' and follow the same format.
The five winners from each section join the 22 automatic entrants in the group stage.
The play-offs will be played over two legs on Aug 18/19 and 25/26

As you can see Arsenal can face any of the five unseeded team, If we can avoid Fiorentina and Athletico Madrid, then I we should not have much problemo qualifying for the group stage but even if we draw against these two teams it will surely be difficult but I am sure we will make it.
And you don't have to guess that these teams will also want to avoid Arsenal.
