Senderos On His Way To Goodison ?

Manchester City are “close to completing” a £20million deal for Joleon Lescott at Everton after the Merseyside club made a swoop for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.

David claiming, that the sheer persistence of the Citizens in trying to lure the England International to the Eastlands Stadium is set to pay dividends, with £20million said to be enough for Lescott to leave Goodison Park.

Apparently the availability of Senderos will allow Mark Hughes to bag his man after having two offers for Lescott rejected by Everton boss David Moyes, who has always been adamant the defender will not be leaving for their League rivals.

It said the Gunners defender had a buy-out clause of £6million, while on loan at AC Milan last term, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger willing to sell, but could hold out for more from Everton.

Well, if it true then aren't we short of defenders then, may be Arsene have someone in his minds because I seriously never take Arsene on face value, he never reveals his transfer targets and when he does reveal them, he usually buy them so I will give a benefit to Arsene, Infact we all gooners should because he knows where strengthning is needed.
